How do I start recording a session?
Open Paddlor and tap the "+" button on the Home tab. Select your craft (SUP or Kayak), then tap Start. The app will begin tracking your GPS route, distance, and speed. Tap Stop when you're done to save the session.
How do I use the Apple Watch app?
Install Paddlor on your Apple Watch through the Watch app on your iPhone. Open Paddlor on your Watch, choose your craft, and tap Start. Your session will automatically sync to your iPhone when you stop. Make sure your Watch and iPhone are connected via Bluetooth for the best experience.
What is Paddlor Pro?
Paddlor Pro unlocks the full feature set: the 7-day weather & swell forecast, advanced stats and personal bests, full session history, community paddle spots, and more. You can subscribe to Pro from the Profile tab inside the app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Paddlor, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Why isn't my forecast loading?
Paddlor fetches forecasts from Open-Meteo using your current GPS location. Make sure location access is enabled for Paddlor in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. If the forecast still fails, check your internet connection and try pulling down to refresh on the Conditions tab.
My Watch session didn't sync to my phone
Session sync requires your Apple Watch and iPhone to be within Bluetooth range when you stop the session. If they were out of range, bring them close together — the Watch will retry the transfer automatically. Sessions are queued and will sync as soon as a connection is established.
How do I delete a session?
On the Sessions tab, swipe left on any session and tap Delete. You can also tap into a session and use the delete option in the top-right menu. Deleted sessions cannot be recovered.
How do photos get linked to my sessions?
If you grant Paddlor access to your photo library, the app will automatically scan for photos taken within 15 minutes of your session start and end times and attach them to that session. You can adjust this behaviour in Settings → Photo Linking.
How do I add a spot to the Explore map?
The Explore map is a Paddlor Pro feature. With Pro active, open the Explore tab, tap the "+" button, and drop a pin at your location. Add a name, craft type tags, and difficulty rating, then save. Your spot will be visible to all Paddlor users.
